This is my room. Near the window, there is a desk. I often do my homework at it. You can see some books, some flowers in a vase, a ruler and a pen. On the wall near the desk, there is a picture of a cat. There is a clock above the end of my bed. I usually put my football under my bed. Of course there is a chair in front of the desk. I sit there and I can see the trees and roads outside.

I am Eddie. I am at home. There is a desk in my room. Look, there are some pineapples on the desk. They are very nice. Touch them. How do they feel? Oh, they are rough. There are some strawberries(草莓) on the desk too. Taste them. They aren’t sweet. They are a little sour. I don’t like sour strawberries.

Mrs White wants to have a party at home. She goes to the supermarket to buy some chicken, fish, vegetables and fruit for dinner. Chicken is ten yuan a kilo (每公斤10 元)and she buys one kilo. Fish is nine yuan a kilo and she buys two kilos. The fish smells fishy (鱼腥的). The tomatoes are smooth. Tomatoes are two yuan a kilo and she buys four kilos. Bananas are three yuan a kilo. She buys four kilos. And the bananas are sweet.

Jimmy and Amy are Chinese. They are friends. They are in Shanghai. They are on Nanjing Road now. They can see many shops, fruit shops, food shops, clothes shops. They are tired. They can have a rest in Zhongshan Park. They sit on the grass. They can see many children. Some are girls. Some are boys. They are very happy.

I am Ben. I’m ten years old. I have a little sister, her name is Kitty. She’s thin and short. She has long hair. Her eyes are big. She can sing English songs well. She likes eating cakes very much. Because the cakes are soft and sweet. Alice is Kitty’s good friend. They often go to school together. They are in the same class.

I have a new bedroom. It’s not big, but it’s very clean. There is a desk in front of the window. It’s brown. There is a lamp on the desk. It’s yellow. There is a toy car on the desk too. It’s pink. There is a bookcase beside my desk. It’s brown too. There are many books in it. There is a piano in my bedroom. It’s new. It’s black. I can play the piano well.

   It’s summer. It’s hot. The sun is shining. Alice, Ben and I are in the park. Ben is playing with his dog, Mark. Alice has a nice kite. It’s blue and orange. And she likes to fly the kite. Look! She’s happy. There are many flowers in the garden. I can smell the flowers. They are nice. The sky is blue. What a nice day!

This is the twins' bedroom. It is a nice room. The two beds look the same. This bed is Lily's and that one is Lucy's. The twins have one desk and two chairs. Their clock, books and pencil boxes are on the desk. Their schoolbags are behind the chairs. Some nice flowers are on the desk. Some nice pictures are on the wall. Is there a kite? Yes, it's under Lily's bed. The bedroom is very nice.

Tom is seven. He goes to school every day. The school is near his home. So he walks there and comes back on time. But today he is late. His mother asks him, “Why are you late today?
