Today it’s Sunday and it’s a fine day. There are many people in the park. Some pupils are playing games (游戏) over there. Three boys are playing football. A girl is flying a kite. Two boys are running on the grass. There is a lake near a house. Beside the house two men are walking. A woman is watering the flowers. The flowers are beautiful.

Today is Saturday. Mike and his family are in the park. Tom is playing basketball with his brother Jack. His sister Ann is flying a kite. Mr Black Mike’s father is drawing a picture. Mrs Black Mike’s mother is reading under the tree. They are all happy.

Eric is my friend. He comes from the UK. There are three people in his family. They live in a tall building in Beijing now. It’s near a park. Eric’s father is a doctor. He works in a hospital. It’s near their home. His mother is an English teacher. Eric walks to school every day. He doesn’t cross the street when the light is red. And he crosses the street when the light is green.

I am Zhang Lihua. I’m eleven years old. I live near the school. I always go to school on foot. In my family, there are three people, my father, my mother and I. My father is a doctor. He works at Heping Hospital. He is always ready to help others. Because of COVID-19 (新冠肺炎), he is very busy now. He usually goes to sleep (睡觉) at the hospital. My mother is an English teacher. She works at my school. She also does housework (家务活) every day. I often help her to do housework. I love my family.

Everyone has his favourite animal. Can you guess what my favourite animal is? They’re fat and lovely. Their arms,legs and shoulders are black. Their bodies and heads are white. Most of them live in China. The Sichuan Province (省) and Gansu Province are their hometowns. When I give them bamboos, they like to eat them.

My name is Jane, I’m ten years old. I’m in Class Three, Grade Five. I usually get up at six, and do an hour (小时) exercises. I always have breakfast at seven ten, and go to school at seven thirty. My home is near the school, so I often go to school on foot. I have lunch at school, we have lunch at eleven thirty. Today is Friday, we have Chinese and English classes. It’s ten o’clock now. It’s time for English class. English is very interesting. I like English very much.
