Mary Smith is the youngest girl in our class. Her parents are going to give her a birthday party. Mary will be twelve years old. Tomorrow will be Mary’s birthday and many of Mary’s friends will come to her birthday party. Twelve girls and five boys will be at the party. All the family are busy with the birthday party now. Mrs Smith is cleaning the house. Mary’s sister Betty is helping her. “I’m going to make a party cake,” Mrs Smith says. “I’ll buy the candles,” Betty says. Mr Smith is busy, too. He is shopping at the market. He is going to buy fruit, sweets and juice for the party. And he is going to buy a teddy bear for Mary. She wants to have the toy bear very much. He thinks that Mary will be very happy at the party.
