Mr Green goes to see his son in London. His son works in a music club. Mr Green doesn’t know London well. He can’t find his way.

He sees a woman at a bus stop. He wants to ask the way. “Excuse me ! Can you help me? Which bus goes to Miller’s Shop?” Mr Green asks.

The woman is very friendly. She smiles. But she can’t speak English. She can speak French (法语). She is new in London. She puts her hand into her coat and takes out a small book. She opens it and reads something on it. “I’m sorry, I can’t speak English.”

Wendy is a girl. Her school is small and nice. There are ninety-nine students in the school. On the first floor, there is a table tennis room and a library. There aren’t any computer rooms on the first floor. In Wendy’s classroom, there are sixteen students. Miss Hu is their teacher. In the classroom, there are some desks and chairs. There is a bookcase. Near the bookcase, there’s a computer on the teacher’s desk. All the students have a computer on their desks. Wendy and her classmates (同学) like drawing pictures. Look, there are some pictures on the wall. They’re very nice.

One day, Cao Cao gets an elephant. He wants to know its weight. But the elephant is so big. Its big body looks like a wall and its ears look like two big fans. Nobody can weigh the elephant.

Cao Cao’s little son, Cao Chong tells Cao Cao he can weigh it. Cao Chong first lets the elephant go onto a boat in the river. He marks the water line on the boat.

Then, Cao Chong lets the elephant come back to the bank. He asks people to put some heavy stones in the boat.

Cao Chong weighs each of the stones. In this way, he weighs the elephant. Cao Cao is very happy. “Your idea is so great! What a clever boy!”

Susan is my good friend. She’s a Chinese girl. She’s eleven. She has long hair and a small mouth. Her brother Jim is twelve. He has two big eyes and he’s not tall. They like storybooks and robots very much.

Every morning, they have breakfast together. Susan likes some milk and some pies for breakfast. But Jim likes eggs and some orange juice in the morning. Today Susan can’t find her milk. Look! Their cat Mimi is drinking it near the table. Perhaps she wants to have a nice breakfast too!

There are a lot of animals at the zoo. Pandas are very lovely. They’re white and black. This is the mother panda. It has big and fat body. That’s her baby. It’s so small. Giraffes(长颈鹿)are very tall. They have long legs and long necks(脖子). They can get a very tall tree. Koalas（考拉）are lovely. They sleep at daytime, but they get up and eat at night.

Mr Brown likes dogs. His two dogs live with him. One is big and the other is small. One day, Mr Smith come to visit him. When he sees two holes (洞) in the door, a big hole and a small hole, he is surprised (惊讶) and says,“My friend, why are there two holes in your door?”

“Let my dogs come in and come out. ”

“But one is enough (足够)”

“But how can the big dog go though (穿过 )the small hole?”

Do you know the girl in the photo? Her name is Quan Hongchan. She is a diving champion(跳水冠军) of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games(2020年东京奥运会).

Quan Hongchan is from a small village in Guangdong. She was only 14 years old in 2021. She’s short and thin. She a shy girl. When she was 7, she started(开始) to learn diving. The young girl loves diving and she is very hard-working. Now, she’s a great diving player in the world.
