Hello, I'm Li Ping. I'm a student. I'm in Class 2, Grade 6. There is a new library in my school. There are many books in it. But there wasn't a library three years ago. My classroom is big and clean. There is a computer on the teacher's desk. There is a map of China on the wall. But there wasn't a computer or a map in my classroom two years ago. Five years ago there were one thousand students in my school. But now there are two thousand students. My school is beautiful. I love it.

A little boy is travelling with his father. They are on a train. The boy often puts his head out of the window. “Ted, don’t put your head out of the window,” his father says, but the little boy doesn’t listen. At last the father has an idea. When the boy puts his head out of the window again, he takes the boy’s hat quickly, and puts it behind him and says, “you lose your hat. You shouldn’t put your head out of the window.” The boy cries. The father then says, “If you promise(答应) to be a good boy and sit still, I’ll ask the hat to come back again.”

The boy stops crying and sits still. The father says, Come back, hat!” and he quickly takes the hat out from his back. The boy is very happy, and he throws his father’s bag out of the window, and says, “Come back, bag!”

There was a park near my home. I could(can的过去式) see many green trees and beautiful flowers in it. I could see a hill in the park, too. Beside the hill there was a zoo and there were many animals in it. My parents and I often went(go的过去式) there by bus on weekends. Pandas are my favorite animals. A panda’s face looks like a cat’s. Many people like them very much. Pandas are very lovely. They like bamboo(竹子) and spring water(泉水). They are our friends.

I Looked Everywhere for It

Susan worked in an office and she usually went out and had lunch in a restaurant. She likes foreign food and often looked in the newspaper for the new restaurant.

One day, she saw the name of a new restaurant in the newspaper and she went there for lunch. It was very small but it was clean and nice, the food was good, too. However, Susan found something hard in her mouth. She took it out. It was a button. “Look here, waiter!” she said, “I have found this button in my food.” “Thank you, thank you!” The waiter answered happily, “I looked everywhere for it.”

This is my room. Near the window there is a desk. I often do my homework at it. You can see some books, some flowers in a vase, a ruler and a pen. On the wall near the desk there is a picture of a cat. There is a clock above(在……上面) the end of(尽头，末尾) my bed. I usually put my football under my bed. Of course(当然) there is a chair in front of the desk. I sit there and I can see the trees and roads(路) outside.
