There were many beautiful flowers in the green grass near the river. Then someone threw an empty（空的）bottle in the grass. A little monkey walked by, and he saw something in the grass.“Oh, it's an empty bottle. It is of no use, ”he said. And then he left（离开）. There were two tortoises（龟）near the river. They saw the bottle, too. The younger tortoise had hurt his leg two days before. So the older tortoise took the empty bottle out of the grass and put his brother on it. Now the two tortoises could go swimming together in the river. The older tortoise said, “Look! It is a useful bottle.”The younger tortoise was very happy. What is useless（无用的）to someone may be useful（有用的）to someone else.

On October 1^st, we went to Wuyishan in Fujian by train. We stayed at a beautiful hotel. It was cool and cloudy on October 2^nd. In the morning we climbed the moutains and went to see the waterfalls（瀑布）. We were tired, but we were happy. In the afternoon we went on a raft trip. We took some pictures. We had a lot of fun there.

After a heavy snow, Mr Smith’s garden was full of deep snow. He wanted to take his car out. So he paid(付钱) a man to clean the snow. He said to the man, “Clean the path(小路), but don’t throw(扔) any snow in my garden or the street.” Then he went out.

When he came back, the path was clean. He was very happy. Then he opened the garage(车库). What did he see? His car was under the snow.

Last Saturday, our class had a trip. We went to the mountain near our city. That day, the weather was great. We started at 7:30. On the way, we talked and sang. Soon, we arrived (到达). Wow! It was really a wonderful mountain. We were happy. Then we went to the top. Then we has a rest (休息). I looked back. Oh, my friend Alice was far from me. She was very tired. I waited for her and asked her to follow me. At about eleven, we ate some food and drank some water. I felt the food was very great!

Lucy got up at six thirty in the morning. Then she washed her face. She went to school at seven thirty. She went to school by bus.

Classes began at eight. She had six lessons (一节课). She had four lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. Classes were over at four. After school she cleaned her classroom. Then she went home.

She got home at five. She had supper at six thirty. After supper she did her homework. She went to bed at nine or ten.

Mike is my friend. He’s thirteen. He is Engish. We are in the same school. We are not in the same class. His father, Mr Black is a driver. He is forty. His morher is not a driver. She is a nurse. She is forty-three. Mike has a sister.
