Last Summer Holiday Trip

Thirty years ago, my grandparents were young. They didn't wear glasses. Grandma was beautiful. She was a nurse. Grandpa was thin and tall. He was a teacher. He went to work by bike. He liked playing badminton.

Now they are old. They wear glasses. Grandpa can't ride now. He often goes for a walk with grandma after dinner.

I am studying in a new school now. My old school was smaller and older than this new one. It was only l,300 square metres. The buildings were lower, too. And there was less grass and trees. It had six grades and about 200 pupils and teachers. The number of the students in the news chool is much bigger than the old one. In my old school, the class began from eight to eleven thirty in the morning. I had lunch at school and then I had class from one to three in the afternoon. I had less homework and more rest time in my old school. But I can learn more in the new school. What about your school?

The Greens went to China last year. They went to Haikou. It’s in the south of China. They ate losts of fruit. The fruit was very delicious. Then they went to Xinjiang. It’s in the west of China. They rode horses there. They climbed the Tianshan Mountain. They visited the Tianchi Lake. It’s very beautiful. Then they went to Beijing in December. It’s very cold. They saw the snow. And they made a snowman together. They had a good time in China.

Helen usually gets up very early in the morning. She often goes to school at about half past seven. She has her first lesson at eight five. She doesn’t go home at noon. She has lunch at a quarter to eleven at school. After lunch, she has a rest for half an hour. Then she plays games with her classmates. Classes are over at half past four. Helen goes home with her friends at about five. At six thirty, she has supper with her parents. She goes to bed at half past nine. That’s Helen’s day.

Hi, I'm Peter. I was busy last weekend. On Saturday, I read books at home in the morning. After breakfast, I cleaned my room and washed my clothes. In the afternoon, I played football with my friends. In the evening, I helped my mom wash the plates. On Sunday, I visited my grandparents. And I helped them clean their room. I did my homework after dinner. I watched TV at night. How busy I was!

Today was a sunny day. In the morning, Robin and I walked to Wu Yifan’s home. It was his birthday. I bought some dinosaurs’ pictures for him. He liked them very much. We ate the birthday cake and lunch together. We had a good time.

And I rode a horse. I visited my uncle，too. My friend Xiaoqiang went to Hainan. It's in the south of China. He went swimming in the sea. This summer，Xiaoqiang is going to Dalian with me.
