Thirty years ago, I was a little girl. I lived in a small house with my parents. We couldn't eat too much, because we didn't have enough food. There weren't any televisions or cars. But now we live in a tall building. We can watch TV every day. We can eat delicious food. We can play games on the computers too. There are many cars in my city. And our city is more and more beautiful. Our country is getting richer(富裕) and stronger (强大). I love my country. I love my city. I am happy every day.

On Sunday we will have a trip. We will take different bags. Look! I have a beautiful bag. And my bag has got two pockets. I can put my umbrella in the pocket. It'll be heavy for me. Amy’s small but heavy. It'll be hard for her to carry. John's is green and light. It'll be easy for him to carry. Ling ling's bag has got four wheels. It'll be easy for her to carry.

Jim and Sam are new students. They are twins, but they don’t look the same. They come from England and study in our school. They speak English very well. Now they study Chinese here. They like China. They are in the same school. But they are in different classes. Jim is in Class Four, Grade One. Sam is in Class Three.

Mary’s shoes were old and broken. Her mum wanted to buy her a new pair. They went to a shoe shop last Sunday. Mum wanted a green pair. The green shoes were nice but heavy. Mary wanted a red pair. The red shoes were light but small. Then they bought a white pair. They were nice and light. They were 15 yuan. They were cheap. Mary liked them very much.

I’m Peter. Today is Sunday. I go to the supermarket with my mother. I like strawberries very much. The strawberries in the supermarket are big and sweet. Mother takes some for me. My mother likes green apples. But the apples in the supermarket are red. We don’t buy them. My father wants a scarf. There are blue scarves and red scarves here. The blue one is too long for him. We buy a red one for him. The red one is nice. Then we go home happily.

Ms Smart and Amy went to a department store last week. Ms Smart wanted to buy a coat for Amy. They looked at a blue coat. Blue is Amy’s favorite colour. The coat was nice. But it was too big for Amy. The sales assistant took a small one. But it was white. Amy tried it. That was lovely. Amy liked it very much. So they took it.

Lingling will come back soon.Daming wants to give her a surprise. He wants to have a party for her. He will invite(邀请) Lanlan, Maomao, Alice and John to the party.He will make a card for Lingling. And he will give her a present. He bought a T-shirt for her yesterday. But it is too big for Lingling. He will change a small one.
