Sam is my new friend. He lives in the US. We often write emails to each other(互相). He is very fat. Yesterday he ate two eggs and three sausages for breakfast. Then he played football. At lunch he drank a bottle of milk and ate two hamburgers, some fish and chips. Then he played computer games. Do you know what he had last night? He had three hot dogs, two sandwiches and drank a bottle of juice. He often says, “When I am eating, I feel very happy.” Oh, my lovely friend!

Many English people eat four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner.

People have breakfast in the morning. They eat eggs and bread. They drink tea or coffee at breakfast. Lunch is at one o’clock. Tea time is from 4:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon and dinner is at about 7:30. First they have soup, then they have meat or fish with vegetables. After that they eat some fruit, like bananas.

Yesterday my parents took me to a restaurant. I like hamburgers very much. I ate a hamburger, some chips and chicken. I drank a glass of juice. Mum doesn’t like hamburgers. She ate some chicken and drank a cup of coffee. Dad ate two hamburgers and drank a glass of cola. The food was delicious.

Afternoon tea is often from four to five in the afternoon. People have dinner at about half past seven. First, they have soup. Then they have meat or fish with vegetables. After that, they eat some fruit, like bananas, apples or oranges.

I'm Chen Hua. It was Sunday yesterday. Mary and Kate came to my home. My mother cooked Chinese food for them. Mary likes dumplings very much. She ate twenty dumplings for lunch. But Kate doesn't like dumplings. She ate a bowl(碗) of noodles. Then we drank Chinese tea. They were very happy. They said they wanted to visit China this summer.

I got an email from Jim. It was about food.

Jim ate two bowls of noodles in the morning. His dad ate three bowls of noodles, but his mother ate only one. Jim ate many dumplings for lunch. His mother also cooked fish for him. There was a big family party in the evening. Jim ate lots of delicious food.

Today was a busy day. I did many things. I did my homework in the morning. Then I went to visit my grandparents with my parents. In the afternoon, we went to the park together. There was a kite show. I like flying kites. My grandpa likes making kites. We saw many beautiful kites there. My grandpa bought me a new kite. In the evening, we had a big dinner. After dinner, we watched TV together. We were very happy.

My name is Bill. Today I had two sandwiches and some milk for lunch. I like sandwiches very much. But my mum doesn't like sandwiches at all. She had dumplings for lunch. She likes Chinese food very much. Tomorrow is my birthday. My mum is going to buy a big cake for me. She will cook lots of Chinese food. I'm going to eat delicious Chinese food. I am happy.

I have a happy family. My father is a policeman. He likes to play basketball. My mother is a nurse. She likes to watch TV and read books. I am a pupil. I am a boy. I like to play computer games. We like to eat noodles.
