Mike is a small boy, and he doesn’t like washing hands. Three or four times (次) every day his mother says to him, “Mike, your hands are very dirty (脏的), go and wash them.” But Mike never washes them well. He only puts his hands in the water and soon takes them out. Mike’s uncle and aunt live in another city. One day they come to see Mike’s parents, and they take their small son, Ted, with them. Ted is a year younger than Mike, and he doesn’t like soap (肥皂) and water, either.
The boys sit with their parents for a few minutes (几分钟), and then they go out .When they are alone (单独的), Mike looks at Ted’s hands and then says proudly (自豪的), “My hands are dirtier than yours!”
