Their sister Sun Li came. She said, “Don't argue! This is my new T-shirt! Look! Your T-shirts are on the line. I washed them for you yesterday.” “Oh, I'm sorry! Thank you,” they said together.

One day, Lucky Dog played with Brave Dog in the park. They rowed boats. They rode bikes. They flew kites. Later, they were tired. They had a rest near the lake. There, they met a cat. They said hello to each other. Then, the cat found a fish behind the dogs. The cat asked the dogs, “Lucky Dog, is this your fish?” Lucky Dog said no. The cat asked Brave Dog, “Brave Dog, is this your fish?” Brave Dog said no. The cat said, “Oh, it’s not your fish. No dogs like fish. So, it’s my fish now! Hmmm, yummy!” The dogs laughed, “All cats like fish.”

“Oh, I'm sorry! Thank you,” they said together.

Children's Day is coming. Mum and Dad took us to the supermarket. Mum bought me a red dress and a pair of sports shoes. Dad bought me a nice toy car. My sister Ann got a white T-shirt and a yellow cap. Then we went out for dinner. What a nice day!

My name is Ted Pike. I am a worker in a big store. I don’t work in the morning. I only work at night. Every morning I come home at about half past six. I have breakfast at seven. After breakfast I go to bed. I get up at about half past two. I have lunch at a quarter to three and have supper at twenty to eight. Then I go to work at a quarter past eight. I start to work at nine. I look after the store every night. I like my work very much.
