Bobby's grandparents lived on a farm. Every summer he went to the farm. He plays with the pigs. One day grandmother gave him a little yellow chicken. Bobby gave it water and rice every day.
Soon the summer was over. And father took Bobby home. He said goodbye to grandparents and the little chicken.
Next summer Bobby went back to the farm. He looked and looked, but he didn't find the little yellow chicken. Just then a big brown hen jumped from a nest (巢,窝). “look, look!” he said. “I did not know my little chicken, but she did not forget me. She gave me an egg for dinner.”
