Mark was seven years old. He talked very slowly but he was a fast runner. Mark did not have many friends at school. Kids were frightened because he looked different. His head was big. His arms and legs were short.
On Sports Day, it was time to run the 4×100 metres. No one liked Mark to be on his or her team. "Run on Scott's team, " the teacher said. Then Scott made an angry face.
