The bell was ringing and the morning-reading class was over(结束). Ms. Wang was a little angry, “Little boy, you’re late! What’s going on?!”

Little Kenny didn’t know what the matter is. He said, “Sorry. But in the UK, I had the first class at nine. We all played in the playground before nine.”

Aunt Judy’s birthday is coming. She will be 38 years old. Dad and Mum are going to take me to her house. She lives in Guangzhou. We are going to go there by train. Her birthday party will be on Saturday. We are leaving on Friday afternoon. And we are coming back on Sunday evening. I am going to give my dear Aunt Judy a picture. I am drawing it now. I am drawing some beautiful flowers. I am drawing a small dog, too. That’s because she likes dogs. The picture will be very nice.

Yesterday was the School Open Day. We came to school, but there were no lessons. In the gym, the students played games. At 9 o’clock in the morning, there was a basketball game. At 10o’clock in the morning, there was a volleyball game. And at 3o’clock in the afternoon, there was a football game.

The students’ parents came to school. My father was in the computer room. He sat there and listened to the teacher.

Where was my mother? I went to the library. My mother loves reading books, but she wasn’t there. I went to the dinner room. My mother was there.

At last, I went to the classroom. My friends were there. The teacher sat and talked with us. It was a happy day.

I am a student of Houzhai Middle School. My school is new. It is big and beautiful. There are three grades. Every grade has twelve classes.

There are about one hundred teachers in our school. The people of my school are very friendly. We all work hard. In our school, there are many new buildings. Our classroom is big and bright, and there is a TV. We can learn much. There is a small hill behind our teaching building. We often visit it. There are many tall trees and beautiful flowers. Some birds often sing in the morning. There is a small lake too. The water is very clear. Do you think my school is beautiful? Welcome to my school!

I am Xiaoyong. I get up at six thirty every morning. Then I wash my face and have breakfast. I go to school at seven o’clock. Our school starts at eight o’clock. There are many beautiful pictures on our classroom walls. I like English very much. I have fun in English class. I study hard and do my homework every day. Our school finishes at half past four.
