School life is different between China and the UK. Last year little Kenny went to Chengdu with his parents. They worked in the People’s Hospital of Chengdu. Little Kenny was in the Beixin Primary School.
It was the first day to start the school. He got up at half past seven. And he went to school at eight o’clock. It took him half an hour to walk to school.
The bell was ringing and the morning-reading class was over(结束). Ms. Wang was a little angry, “Little boy, you’re late! What’s going on?!”
Little Kenny didn’t know what the matter is. He said, “Sorry. But in the UK, I had the first class at nine. We all played in the playground before nine.”
