There is an interesting festival in China. On that day, people in some places have dragon boat races. The dragon boat is quite long. The front of the boat is like the head of a dragon. Each team has about thirty members. And there is a man beating the drum（敲鼓）on the boat. It’s an exciting race, especially（特别是）when they are reaching the finishing line. The audience（观众）beside the lake shout for their favourite teams. From this match, we have the name of the festival—the Dragon Boat Festival.

This festival has another name——Duanwu Festival. It has a story. The story is about a poet called Qu Yuan. And people often eat rice dumplings at this festival to memorialize（纪念）him.
