My name is Xiaoling. My hometown (家乡) is in a small village in Guangxi. Last week, I went back to the village to see my grandfather. I found many changes of my hometown. The road was narrow (狭窄的) and dirty before. But now it is wide and clean. There was no shop in the village. People had to go a long way to buy things. But now there are some small stores and a supermarket. There are so many trees on the hills near the village. But there were only a few before. And the river beside the village is clean now, but it was dirty before. My grandfather was strong and healthy before. But he is weak (瘦弱的) and thin now. I should go back home to see him more often and buy him more good food.

My name is Jack. I had a nice day today. I got up at 6:30 this morning. I went to my friend Tim’s home to meet him. Then we went to the train station together. We arrived in Hong Kong at 10:00 a.m. Tim said he was very excited because it was his first visit to Hong Kong. We went to Tsim Sha Tsui(尖沙咀) to go shopping. I bought a new watch there. We got back home late at night, but I felt very happy.
