My name is Jack. I had a nice day today. I got up at 6:30 this morning. I went to my friend Tim’s home to meet him. Then we went to the train station. We arrived in Hong Kong at 10:00 a.m. Tim said he was very excited because it was his first visit Hong Kong. We went to Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙咀) to go shopping. I bought a new watch there. Then we had hamburgers and chicken for lunch. I think I ate too much because later I felt ill. Tim sat with me until I felt better. He was so kind. After lunch Tim and I went to Hong Kong Island. Then we went on a bus to go to Ocean Park. We took on a cable car (缆车) around the park. I was very afraid but it was fun! We were there for two hours. We watched the sea animals. I loves the animals. After visiting Ocean Park we had dinner at Peak(山顶), From the Peak we can see the beautiful view of Hong Kong. We got back home late at night but I felt very happy.

On July 18th,2012, Mike and his parents went to Qingdao, a city in Shandong for summer vacation. Qingdao is a beautiful city with sea. It was about 2:00 when they arrived there on the first day. They found a hotel and had a short rest. It was really hot and they decided to go to the beach. At about 3:30 pm, they got to the beach. There were many people there. Some were lying on the beach and many children were playing in the water. Mike was playing with them and he was very happy. His parents also felt relaxed. About two hours later, they went back to the hotel. On the second day, it rained all day. Mike visited the history museum with his father and his mother went shopping. On July 20th, they went to Laoshan Mountain in the morning and took a bus home in the afternoon. They were tired but happy.

The boy fell into the water. “Help! Help!” shouted David. But Jack couldn’t swim. Just then, Tony came out. He jumped into the water and pulled the boy onto the bank and saved his life.
