I’m a student in Class Four, Grade Three. My name is Mary. I’m nine. My twin brother’s name is Li Mao. And we are in the same school, and in the same grade, but he is in Class Three. We are good students. I have a good friend. I call her Miss Ying Ying. Do you the reason I call her Miss Ying Ying? Do you think Ying Ying is a good girl? No, you’re wrong. She isn’t a girl, but a cat. She is two years old, but she looks the same as her mother.

Tom is seven. He goes to school every day. The school is near his home. So he goes there on foot and comes back home on time (准时). But today he is late. His mother asks him, “Why are you late today?” “I was in the teachers’ office.’’ “Why did you go to the teachers’ office?” “Because my teacher asked us a question in class, and nobody (没有人) could answer it, but me.” “It’s good to answer the teacher’s questions.” “But the question was ‘Who put the ink (墨水)on my chair?’”

We have the same Mother

Ben and Jim are twin brothers. They are nine. They are pupils. They study in Yuxin Primary School. They are in the same class. Everyday they go to school and come back together.

Their teacher, Mrs. Green, says to the pupils. Please write a composition (作文) 'My Mother'.

Jim is a good boy. He writes the composition at home. But Ben plays football with his friends. The next day Mrs Green says to the class, “I read your compositions today. But two of yours are just the same.” Ben stands up and says, “Jim and I are twins. We have the same mother.”

My name is Betty. I live in China. I study at Shanghai No. 6 Primary School. Today is my birthday. On my birthday, I often get up at 7:30. I buy a lot of food with my mother in the supermarket. Usually I have a good time on my birthday. In the afternoon, my family go and see a film. Then we go home. And we have a birthday party at 6:00 in the evening. At the party, we play games and eat a big birthday cake. I am so happy.

I also like to drink Coke. But my mum doesn't want me to drink Coke. She says it is not good for me. She gives me milk. I want to be a tall boy in my class! I like milk now. I drink milk at breakfast time every day!
