This is my room. My room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. There is a desk and a chair in it. On the desk, there are five exercise books and two English books. And there is a pencil-box on it, too. Look, there are four pictures in my room, spring, summer, autumn and winter. The pictures are rectangles (正方形). They are beautiful. There are many photos on the wall, too. They are my photos. They are about my growth. How many photos? Can you guess? I’m thirteen years old today.

This is our reading room. It is big. It is clean. There are twenty desks in it. The big desk is for our Chinese teacher. The other desks are for us. There are twenty-five chairs in reading room. There are some plants and some colour flowers in the reading room. We like plants and flowers. Miss Zhou is our Chinese teacher. She loves us. We love her.

It is half past four. Jane and Tom are in the supermarket now. Jane has got eight yuan. Tom has got ten yuan. The supermarket is very big. They can see clothes, food, fruit and flowers in it. Jane likes chocolate. A large packet of chocolate is twelve yuan. A small packet of chocolate is seven yuan. Tom is thirsty. A large bottle of orange juice is eleven yuan. A large bottle of apple juice is ten yuan. Jane has got the chocolate and Tom has got the juice. They are happy.

Many animals live here. They are friends. They play together and help each other.

Mr Lion lives at No. 12, Tree Street. There is a bakery near his home. He likes eating bread. It's five yuan.

Miss Cat's home is at No. 23, Grass Street. Miss Rabbit's home is next to Miss Cat's home. They are small. They like eating food. A bowl of noodles is four yuan and one packet of sweets is five yuan.

Mr Monkey and Mr Horse live on Tree Street too. Mr Monkey's home is next to Animal School. Mr Horse's home is near the post office.

This is a picture of Mrs Liang’s office. It’s not big, but very clean and tidy, There is a photo on the wall. It’s a photo of Mrs Liang’s family. In the photo, you can see Mrs Liang’s husband and her daughter. They all look happy. There is a laptop on the desk. Mrs Liang prepares lessons (备课), reads news and chats with her friends with it. Beside the laptop, there is a bottle. It has some carnations in it. They’re pink and yellow. The bookshelf is beside the desk. You can see many books and magazines on it. Mrs Liang likes riding, so there is a bicycle behind the door. I like Mrs Liang’s office. How about you?

Uncle Henry is very happy. He moves to a new house. His new house is near his office building. He can ride a bicycle to work in the morning now. There is a supermarket near his home. He can buy food in the supermarket. He can cook dinner by himself (自己) now. Uncle Henry likes cooking. He can also go to the library at the weekend. There’s a library next to the supermarket. There are a lot of books in it.

Uncle Henry’s new home is very beautiful. There are five rooms in it. Uncle Henry likes the sitting room (客厅). He looks at the busy street from the window every evening. The street is so bright. Uncle Henry loves it!

Mrs. Lee has two children. They’re Peter and Lily. Peter is twelve years old and Lily is ten years old. They study in Rainbow Primary school.

Children’s Day is coming. The school is going to have a party, so the children need to buy some new clothes.

Mrs. Lee and her children are in a shop now. Peter likes the blue shirt and grey trousers, and they are not expensive. The shirt is 80 yuan, and the trousers are 85 yuan. Lily wants to buy a pink dress, it looks very beautiful, but it’s 156 yuan. ‘Do you like the dress, Lily?’ Mum asks. ‘Yes, Mum, but it’s too expensive!’ says Lily. ‘Oh, dear, you can buy it!’ Lily is very happy!

There are many beautiful flowers in the school garden. They are red, yellow and white. The butterflies are blue and black. The birds are black and white. They are happy.

Look at the playground. There are a lot of leaves and rubbish on the ground. Look at the children. The children are putting the rubbish in the rubbish bin.  They are cleaning the playground.

Now they can play ball games there. They are happy.
