Hello! I am Sam. I am twelve years old. I come from the UK. I have got lots of kind friends in my school. Chinese is my favourite subject because my Chinese teacher Linlin is very helpful and smart. She always tells me lots of Chinese stories and makes me happy.

I’m going to leave my primary school soon. I feel very sad to say goodbye to my teachers and classmates. They helped me a lot. Five years ago, I spoke only very little Chinese. Now I can speak a lot more. I want to say thank you to all of them. And I’m going to give them some gifts. Li Ting likes playing the piano. I will give her a piano music CD. Drawing pictures is Yan Xue’s hobby. I will buy her some new crayons. Wang Jing loves model planes, so I want to make a paper plane for him. My teacher Linlin is interested in reading books. So I will buy her a book about Chinese culture. I hope they will like the gifts.
