It is on Sunday morning. The sun is shining. We have no classes. We are playing in the park. Some girls are singing and dancing under a big tree. Some boys are climbing the hill. Tom is drawing by the lake. Mike and John are swimming in the lake. Where are Betty and Mary? They are sitting under a small tree. They are reading a picture book. We are very happy.

It is Sunday today. The weather is fine. Bob and Jane are in the park. It is a big park. They can see many people there. They come here to play after a week's study. Some boys are playing chess on the grass. Some girls are singing and dancing. An old woman is reading a newspaper under a tall tree. A young man and his little son are playing with a toy car. How happy they are!

In Britain, winter is not very cold and summer is not very hot. Why is this? Because it is an island(岛屿) country. In winter the sea is warmer than the land. The winds from the sea bring warm air to Britain. In summer the sea is cooler than the land. The winds from the sea bring cool air to Britain. The winds from the west blow over Britain all the year. They blow from the southwest. They are wet winds. They bring rain to Britain all the year. Britain has a lot of rain all the year. The west of Britain is wetter than the east. The winds must blow over the highland in the west. They drop more rain there. The east of Britain is drier than the west.

There is a park near our school. We can see many trees and flowers there. Some flowers are red, and some are yellow. We can see a hill behind the park too. At the foot of the hill, we can see a river. There are some boats on it. Children like to go there. It is Monday today. There are many Young Pioneers(少先队员) in the park. Some are walking and singing. Some are dancing or playing games. Ann and her sister Kate are flying a kite. Tom and his brother Martin are throwing a frisbee (飞盘) . Their father and mother are sitting under the tree. They are having a good time.

Last Saturday, I went shopping with my mother. It was Sunny and windy. We bought three hamburgers, a cola, bread and five bottles of juice. A bottle of juice is $1. 5. Then we went home by bus. But I dropped my bag when I got on the bus. What a pity!

In England, people often talk about the weather because they can have four seasons in one day. In the morning, it is warm. An hour later, dark clouds come and it starts to rain. In the afternoon, the sun begins to shine (照耀) and the sky is clear. It’s sunny and warm. In England, there is also a summer in winter or a winter in summer. When you want to go out, you should take an umbrella. The rain can come at any time. If you don’t do it, you will regret (后悔) it.

Bill's Family

It's Sunday today. What a beautiful sunny day! Bill's family are all at home. Bill's father, Mr Brown is writing an email to one of his friends, and he is sending one of his drawings to this friend. Bill's mother, Mrs Brown is in the garden (花园). She is planting (种植) a small tree. Bill's sister, Mary is helping her mother. Bill's brothers, David and Simon are making a kite. Where is Bill? What is he doing now? He is sleeping in his bedroom! They are all having a good time.
