Hi, I’m Mike. I’m from America. Last summer, I had a wonderful time in China. In June, I went to Beijing first. I visited Tian’anmen square. It’s very great. Then I went to the Great wall. The Great wall is very old and very long. There are lots of people there. I took many photos of the Great wall. After that, I went to Anhui. I climbed Huangshan Mountain. There are lots of beautiful clouds, stones and trees. I was very excited. At last I visited West Lake. It’s a beautiful lake, I like it very much.

Tomorrow is Sunday. The weather will be sunny and cool. Mike is going to have a picnic with his best friends. He is going to invite (邀请) Sally, Tim, Ben and Jane to come. He is getting ready for it. He is going to buy some sandwiches, hamburgers, Coke and orange juice. He will ask his friends to have the picnic on Maofeng Hill. Maofeng Hill is a big park in Guangzhou. They can get there by bus. They will meet at the bus station in Renmin Road at eight thirty.

It was Saturday yesterday, It was sunny and warm. I got up early at 7:00. After breakfast, I went to the beach with Lily. There were many people there. We ran, jumped and played volleyball on the sands. We also swam in the sea. Some people fished on a boat. We had a good time. We are tired but happy.

Last weekend we went to the countryside to have a picnic. We took a few sandwiches and some bottles of water with us for lunch. Of course we didn’t forget to take some fruit and we even took some tomatoes and potatoes. We left home quite early in order to avoid the traffic jam. About two hours later, we came to a nice place. It was near a river. We put our bicycles under the trees and went swimming. It was a very hot day. The water was very refreshing. After having a swim, we had lunch in the cool shade under the trees. Then we went for a walk. We didn’t come back home until the night fell.

It was Sunday yesterday. My good friend, Steven, wanted (想要) to go to the park. He asked me to go with him. But I was busy. I went to the hospital (医院) to see my uncle. He was sick (生病的). At last, Steven didn’t go to the park. He stayed at home and listened to music. But we will go there next Sunday.

Diana, Frank, Tony and Sarah are talking about their favourite months in a year. Diana loves December, because she loves Christmas, and she can get lots of presents. Frank likes June best, because he likes Children’s Day. Tony thinks August is good. He can go on a trip. He likes traveling with his families. Sarah says she likes every month. She is a lovely girl.

On Sundays, Jim gets up at 6:00. He has breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Then he goes to visit his grandfather by bike. He doesn’t go to school. There are not any classes on Sundays. He reads Chinese and does his homework in the morning.

He has lunch at 12:00. In the afternoon, he plays football with his friends. He has supper at 6:00 p.m. In the evening, he reads English storybooks and watches TV. He goes to bed at 9:00 p.m.

I'm a girl. I'm in Class Two, Grade (年级) Six. My name is Li Hong. I'm eleven. My cousin, Li Yi, and I are in the same school, and in the same grade, but not in the same class. We are good students at school. I have a good friend. I call her Yangyang. Do you think Yangyang is a good girl? No. She isn't a girl, but a cat, a nice cat. She is black and white. I like her.

How are you doing? I went to England with my father last July. I had happy summer holidays. The weather was good. We went to the beach. I like the sand, the sun, the cool wind and the blue sea. I learnt swimming. What did you do during the summer holidays, Lingling? Please write to me.
