Look, the Spring Festival in China is coming. People buy some flowers and put them in their houses. They clean the windows and doors. They cook nice food for their families and have a big family reunion dinner. Also (而且), the older people give some red packets to the children. People also light firecrackers together and have great fun. When friends meet, they say：“Happy the Spring Festival!” to each other.

The Spring Festival is our Chinese New Year

The Spring Festival is an important festival in China. There are different names for each year. We call it the year of monkey, the year of dog... I enjoy the Spring Festival most. It is a good time of joy. We wear new clothes and eat delicious food. Before the festival, we go shopping (去购物) and clean the houses. On the eve, we have a big family dinner. After dinner, we watch the Spring Festival Gala (春晚) on TV. On the first day of the year, we visit my grandparents and get red packets. Then we go to the temple fair (庙会) and watch the lion dances. It’s a lot of fun.

My Father’s Day

My father gets up at 6 o'clock. He runs from 6:30 a.m. to 7 o’clock. He walks to work at 7:30 a.m. He begins to work in his office at 8 o'clock. He has lunch in the dining hall at 12:15 p.m. He begins to work again in his office at 2:30 p.m. He works the whole afternoon till 5:30 p.m. He comes home at 6:00 p.m. We have dinner at home at 6:30 p.m. My father reads for about 50 minutes. He usually goes to bed at 11:00 p.m.
