   Sanya is my hometown(家乡). It’s a very beautiful city. The buildings are tall, and the trees are tall, too. Summer is hot and sunny. Boys and girls can wear their sunglasses and beautiful T-shirts. The favourite drink in Sanya is coconut(椰子) milk. It’s fresh and sweet. It’s very delicious. Spring is very warm in San-ya. Fall is cool. It seems that there is no winter in Sanya. Many people in the north come to Sanya and they can swim in the sea because it’s warm and cool in winter. It’s not cold.

My name is Mike. There are four people in my family. My father, my mother, my brother and I. My father likes autumn best, because he can draw many beautiful pictures in autumn. He is an art teacher. My mother likes winter. She's a nurse. My brother likes summer best. I like summer too. Because I can eat ice cream and he can go swimming with his friends.

The summer holiday is coming up. I am going to join an English Summer Camp to America. My pen friend Peter lives in New York. We will visit the city. So I have a chance to meet him face to face. And I sent an e-mail to tell him that. He is very happy.

Today is very hot. I only wear a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. Now I am watching a TV programme in my house. The news is about the White House. I see “Dog Days” in the top right corner of the screen. Then I say to my American friend Peter, “You Americans have many festivals, such as Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, April Fool’s Day, and so on. Now dogs have their holiday, too! Is there also any “Cat Days”, “Rabbit Days” in USA?”

Peter can’t help laughing. He tells me, “Dog days are not a dog’s holiday. It means the hottest days of summer. Dog Days have nothing to do with dogs. For example, every dog has his day. It has nothing to do with dogs, either. It means everyone will have his lucky days.”

We have four seasons. They are spring, summer, fall and winter. In spring, there are many flowers and green trees. I can play on the grass with friends. In summer, it’s hot. I can swim in the sea and eat ice-cream. I like summer. In fall. Farmers are busy. We can eat moon cakes in fall. But I like winter best. In winter, it’s cold. Sometimes it snows. I often skate in winter. Sometimes I make a snowman.

My name is Li Jia. I live in Beijing. I like doing different things in different seasons. In spring, it is warm and windy. I can fly kites when it is windy. Sometimes I go hiking(去远足)with my parents. Summer is sunny and hot. So I can go swimming every day. It make me healthy and strong. Autumn is a harvest season. I like it because I can eat delicious fruit in this season. Winter is cold and snowy. When it snows，everything is white. I can play with snow, make a snowman and skate(滑冰).So I like winter best.
