My name is Jack. I’m a boy. I'm a student. My father is 38 years old. He is a doctor. He likes playing football. On weekends my father and I always play football for two hours. He likes skating, too. He usually skates in winter, so he is very healthy.

My mother is 35 years old. She is a teacher. She likes staying at home and learning English. Sometimes she does exercise and she likes playing ping-pong with me. She always reads books, too. She is very busy.

There are many different types of sports and some are played outdoors and others are played indoors.

Racing, skiing, kite-flying, and football are all outdoor sports. To play outdoor sports like these, players need a lot of space outside and a bright sunny day. Horse-riding, running and cycling are some other fun outdoor sports.

Some people like indoor sports more than outdoor sports because indoor sports can be played anytime of the year. Table tennis, billiards（台球）, chess and cards are all fun indoor sports.
