Hello, everyone. Do you know Spring Festival? I like it very much. On Spring Festival, I often wear new clothes and have a big dinner with my family. In the evening, we watch TV and making dumplings. Most Chinese people like eating dumplings. I like eating them, too. At night we go outside to look at the lanterns and play with fireworks（烟火）.It is very wonderful.

On Christmas Eve, the night before Christmas Day, children are very happy. They put their stocking at the end of their beds before they go to bed. They want Father Christmas to give them some presents.

Mr Green tells his children that Father Christmas is a very kind man. He comes on Christmas Eve. He lands on top of each house and comes down the chimney(烟囱) into the fireplace and brings them a lot of presents.

Christmas Day always begins before breakfast. The children wake up very early. They open the presents in their stockings. Then they wake up their parents and call, “Merry Christmas!”

Do you know what Christmas means? Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ. When Christ was born, many people gave him presents. So today, people still do the same thing to each other.

 Yesterday was Saturday. It was sunny. I got up at 7:30. After breakfast, I went to the beach with Alice. There were many people on the beach. We ran, jumped and played volleyball on the sands. We swam in the sea. Some men fished on a boat. We had a good time. We were tired, but happy.

Today is Sunday. Some students are playing basketball in the playground. They are having a match. Wang Bing, Liu Tao, Ben, Kate and Su Hai are in the Tiger Team. David, Gao Shan, Jack, Su Yang and Nancy are in the Lion Team. The score is ten (the Tiger Team)to eight (the Lion Team)now. Look, Liu Tao is over there in the corner with the ball. Gao Shan and Jack are next to him. Now, Liu Tao is passing the ball to Su Hai, but Jack stops it. Oh, Jack is shooting. The ball is flying to the goal. He’s got a goal.

Last Saturday morning, Jean went to a flower shop. She wanted to buy some flowers for her mother’s birthday. There were many people in the flower shop. Suddenly, Jean saw a beautiful pen on the floor.

Christmas is an important festival for western people. Children don’t go to school and men needn’t to work on that day. They prepare a lot of things to celebrate this festival. Most of family will put up their houses with colourful lights. Christmas tree is necessary. They put many gifts on it. Children are very happy because they think there is a Santa will give them gifts. Now more and more people like Christmas.

Last Sunday afternoon, I was in a bookshop. I wanted to buy an interesting book about animals. Suddenly I saw a short man behind me. He stole my purse and ran out of the shop. I followed him along the street, but he run faster than me. I shouted, “ Stop the thief! Stop the thief!” A policeman heard me and came to help. Then a woman came and said, “I saw him. He ran along the street and turned left at the first crossing.” The policeman began to run. He ran faster than the thief. Soon he caught the thief and I got my purse back.
