The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival. It is on May 5th of lunar (阴历) month. We commemorate (纪念) the death of Quyuan. People do lots of things at the Dragon Boat Festival. They eat Zongzi. Sometimes they put many kinds of things in it. Such as: date (大枣), rice, peanut(花生), meat, yolk (蛋黄) and something else. People put spice bags (香包) in their rooms or bags and children tie colourful strings on their wrist (手腕). People also put special plants out of the door. Thanksgiving is a very popular holiday in the US. It is on the fourth Thursday of November. On this day, families and friends come together for a turkey dinner.
