John can play basketball very well. But he can’t play table tennis. Zhang Hua can’t play table tennis either. He likes football. He can play it very well.

Tom and Sam are twin brothers. They are in Grade Five. They like English very much. They can speak English well. After school they like to do different things on different days. On the first day of a week, they like going swimming with their father. And they like playing basketball on Monday. What do they do on Tuesday? They help their mother with the housework. On Wednesday they like making model ships. And on Thursday, they like reading storybooks. Friday is their happy day. They like watching TV in the evening.

One Sunday evening, John shouts, “Please, God (上帝), I want a big box of sweets.” His mother says, “Don't shout! God can't hear you.” “I know,” says the clever boy with a smile. “But my grandfather is in the next room. And he can hear me.”
