Roxy is a lovely fox. One day, she and her father are at home. Father is tired. He says, “Roxy, I want to take a nap(打瞌睡). Go and play.”

“Roxy”, says Father, “Please stop(停止) that. We don’t play in the house(房子).” “OK.” says Roxy.

She jumps on the chair. She jumps up and down. She jumps very high. “I can jump, higher than(比……更高) any fox. I’m super fox!” “Roxy, we don’t jump in the house.” says Father. “Please stop that.” ‘OK.” says Roxy.

“You are a super fox. A super fox plays outside(在外面). Let’s go to the park.” says Father.

They are in the park, but Roxy says, “I want to take a nap.”

My father is at home

One afternoon John plays football in front of a house with his friends. A young woman comes up and asks him, “John, is your father at home?” “Yes, he is. He is reading a book in his bedroom.” Answers John. Then the young woman goes over to press the bell. The bell rings and rings, but no one comes to open the door. The young woman gets angry and calls to him, “You tell me your father is at home, don’t you.?” “Yes, my father is at home. But my home isn’t here.”
