Mo Yan is a very famous Chinese writer. He was born in 1955 in Shandong. He started writing in1976.Dry River, Autumn Stream and Folk Music were his early works. In 1997, Mo Yan stopped working in the army. He began to write for the newspaper. He also wrote stories for movies and TV. From then on, he wrote many books and won a lot of prizes.
