One day, a monkey walked to a lake. Suddenly(突然), he saw a tiger under a tree. The tiger saw him, too. The tiger ran very fast after the monkey. He wanted to eat the monkey. The monkey was very afraid and he fell into the lake. The monkey couldn’t swim(游泳) and he shouted(喊叫), “Help! Help!” A dog came and he jumped into the lake. The dog swam(游泳) to the monkey but he could not help him. Both of them shouted for help. Luckily, a giraffe(长颈鹿) came along. He was very tall. He helped the dog and the monkey.

It’s Tuesday today. Kitty goes to the city to visit her aunt. It’s a big city. There are many tall buildings in the city. Kitty can’t find the way to her aunt’s house. She is lost. She wants to cross the street. But there are too many cars and buses. She feels afraid. A policeman comes and helps her cross the street. And he tells Kitty the way to her aunt’s house. Kitty thanks him and then she gets there on foot. Kitty is very happy to see her aunt.

I'm Xiao Wei. Last Monday was my birthday. But no one said “Happy Birthday” to me. I was very sad. My friend, Zhang Hong, asked me to go to her home after school.
