I’m a student in Class Four, Grade Three. My name is Mary. I’m nine. My twin brother’s name is Li Mao. And we are in the same school, and in the same grade, but he is in Class Three. After supper, my parents, my sister and I watch TV. Then I go to bed at ten thirty. I don't do my homework on that day. I am very tired but happy on my birthday.

My friends are coming. The boys and girls enjoy my birthday party. They laugh and play games. Now, they are eating sandwiches, cakes and fish. They are drinking apple juice and orange juice. My birthday cake is very big. There are 11 candles on it. They say: Happy birthday to Sam!

My birthday is on March 23th, I celebrate it every year with my family and my friends. Every year, I hold a little birthday party and invite my friends. We chat and play a lot of games together. The best part of it is that I love the birthday cake and the gifts I get from my parents and my friends. I also get some money on my birthday. I can buy what I want with the money.

I have great fun on my birthdays, but on the other hand, I also understand (明白) that I am one year older after each birthday and that means I should be more responsible (有责任) for myself and I should also be self-aware (自觉的). Fianlly, I should be thankful for my parents, I know they have done their best in raising me up (抚育).
