Today is Saturday. Ben, Kitty and Mum are at home. Ben and Kitty want to go out and play.   But Mum doesn’t agree with them because it’s a rainy day. So they have to（不得不）stay at home and watch TV in the living-room. The weatherman on TV tells them that tomorrow will be a fine day. So they are very happy. Kitty plans to ride to the zoo with Alice and Ben wants to go and play football with his friends. There is no sugar and salt in the kitchen. So Mum needs to go to the supermarket tomorrow. All of them will be busy tomorrow.

Summer is hot but don't stay at home all the time. It is a sunny day. The wind blows gently. Jimmy and his friends go camping with their teacher, Miss Li.

They drive for an hour and find a beautiful place in the countryside (乡村). The place has a mountain, a lake and a forest. It is a great place for camping. Jimmy and his friends help Miss Li set up the camp. Then, they play.

The lake looks nice. It is not deep (深), but it is very clean. Joe and Jimmy go fishing. They sit and wait for a long time. They don't move because fishing is a quiet sport.

The mountain is nice too. Sue and Mary climb the mountain. Hiking is their favourite sport. It makes them strong.

Jack and Ann find a small path to the forest. They go biking in the forest. It's fun but they can't go too far or ride too quickly.

Johnny is a fat boy. He doesn't like playing or doing sports. Miss Li says: "You need to move your body. Sport is good for you. Let's play badminton together. "So Johnny plays with Miss Li.

Birds don't fly high up in the sky. The air is too thin. It is hard for birds to breathe (呼吸) іn thin аіr. Тhin aіr dоеѕn't hоld thеm uр.

Birds fly near the ground so that they can see where they are. They look for places they know. Then they do not get lost. Some birds fly so low over the ocean that the waves often hide them. Many birds fly long distances (距离) in spring and autumn.

Air is all around us. It is around us as we walk and play. From the time we were born (出生), air is around us. When we sit down, it is around us. When we go to bed, air is also around us. We live in air. We can live without food or water for a few days, but we cannot live for more than a few minutes without air. When we are working or running, we need more air. When we are asleep, we need less air.

We live in air, but we cannot see it. We can only feel it. We can feel it when it is moving. Moving air is called wind. How can we make air move? Here is one way. Hold an open book in front of your face. Close it quickly. What can you feel? What you feel is air.

This morning, there is a strong wind and heavy rain in Shanghai. In the park, many trees are blown down. In the afternoon, we go to the park to do some cleaning. Our teacher gives us some advice to clear away the fallen trees, branches and leaves. Then we begin our work. After an hour, we are working hard when it begins to rain again. It rains heavily. We don't take any umbrellas or raincoats. The rain lasts two hours. And we have to stop our work.
