We know a lot of famous cities like Shanghai, London and so on. But, what about our city Nantong? Let me show you some pictures.

First, this is a picture of Qingdun Ruins. From the Ruins, we know that people started growing rice 5000 years ago. People found “a pottery axe” too. It is called “the first axe of China”.

There’s a Clock Tower in the second picture. The tower is in front of Nantong High School. In 1914, Mr Zhang Jian bought the big clock from Shanghai. It shows people time, and it tells danger too.

What’s this in the third picture? Yes, it’s a metro. From 2022, people in Nantong can take it to many places. More and more metros are going to be put to use.

These three pictures show great changes of our city Nantong. What’s in the fourth picture? It’s up to you and me!
