On a sunny day, the animals in the woods wanted to go for a picnic.

“It’s a good day for a p1．,” said the fox happily. Soon the animals set off for a park with their food and picnic baskets. They b2． a lot of food with them, such as sandwiches, chocolate cakes and bread.

On the way, they came across a river. “Let’s climb that log(圆木) that has fallen across the river,” suggested the fox. The animals were pleased with the i3． and they wobbled their way over the log.

When the animals got to the park, they found the chipmunks(花栗鼠) had already got there.

“How do you come here so e4．?” asked the fox. The chipmunks smiled and said,” We saw that the log was hollow(空的), so we walked through it with our picnic baskets.” “That was clever!” said the rabbits.
