Chinese New Year
Many people celebrate Chinese New Year. People celebrate the coming of spring and wish for good luck. They put good luck sayings in their homes and watch a colorful Lion Dance. It uses loud noises to chase away bad luck. People also give gifts to others.

Thanksgiving Day
It’s a traditional American national holiday in the United States. This holiday is on the 4th Thursday in November. It’s a holiday for American people to express (表达) their thanks. Every family has a big dinner. On the dinner table, you will find apples, oranges, plum pudding, mince pie and so on. But roast turkey and pumpkin pies are traditional food on this day.
