Simon: Hi, John. How old are you?   
John: I’m 22.
Simon: What do you do and where do you work?
John: I’m a fireman. I work in North California (北加州), Us.
Simon: When do you go to work?
John: I go to work at 8:00 in the morning and work for 24 hours (小时) until (直到) 8:00 the next morning. Then I have a day off (休息).
Simon: Oh, you work so hard.Are you afraid when you put out (熄灭) fires?
John: No.
Simon: What do you think of your job?
John: My job is dangerous (危). And it’s not the best paying(最丰厚薪水的) job.But when you save someone’s life (挽救生命), it’s priceless (无价的).
Simon: You’re so great.
