Joe is a pupil. He was late for school this morning. He got up at twenty to nine, but classes start at nine. He rode fast to school.
He rode very fast. He saw the red light, but he didn’t stop. He wanted to cross. A policeman stopped him. He asked Joe Why he didn’t stop. Joe told the policeman he was late for school. The policeman told him, “The traffic (交通) lights are red, you should stop. The traffic lights are green, you can go. There are lots of cars on the road.
