There are two kinds of elephants on land. One is the Asian(亚洲的) elephant and the other is the African (非洲的) elephant. Which one is bigger? Now, I’ll tell you the answer. A 15-year-old African elephant is about 4 metres and 8 tons. They are the biggest animals on land. So they are bigger than Asian elephants. Elephants like to live together. We can find almost one hundred elephants eat together and drink together. Do you know how tall and how heavy a baby elephant is? It’s about 100 cm and 100 kg.

As we know, the dog is a clever animal. But the elephant is cleverer than the dog. Elephants can do many things for us. They can carry the goods. They can even take care of human babies. They can perform in the circus (马戏团). Elephants are really our friends.
