A crow (乌鸦) is sitting high up in the tree. He has a piece of meat in his mouth. A fox (狐狸) comes and sees the crow. He thinks, “I will get the meat.” “Oh, Crow, ” calls the fox, “Your voice (声音) is the most beautiful in the word! Please sing a song for me! ” The crow has never heard anyone say such sweet words before. He opens up his mouth and begins to squawk (嘎嘎叫), and the meat drops from his mouth.
