     It is cold day in winter. A farmer finds a snake on the ground. It is nearly (几乎) dead (死的，无生命的). The farmer is a kind person. He takes it carefully to his house and puts it near the fire. Soon the snake begins to move but it raises (抬起) its head and tries to bite (咬) the farmer. “Oh,” says the farmer, “I save (挽救)your life, but you thank me like this.
