Thanksgiving is a very popular holiday in the US. It is on the fourth Thursday of November. On this day, families and friends come together for a turkey dinner. People leave work early on Wednesday afternoon for a family reunion. Many people take Friday off and make it a long weekend because most Americans don't work on Saturdays and Sundays.
