One day Jim plays football with his friends in the street. They are playing very happily. But one of them kicks（踢）the ball so hard. It his（打）the window of a house, and falls into it. The window is broken. The lady of the house picks it up and says to him, “You must ask your mother or your father to come, and give the money for the window. After that I will give back your ball.” Jim says, “I'm sorry, Madam, I will go home to ask my father to mend it.” Then he leaves. After a few minutes, he comes back to the house. He points to（指）a man far behind him and says to the lady, “My father is coming.” So the lady gives the ball to him quickly.
The man mends the window. Then he says to the lady, “Five dollars, please!” The lady is very surprised（惊奇）.  She asks, “Aren't you the boy's father?” And the man asks, “Aren't you the boy's mother?” 
⑴Jim breaks（打破）the window.
⑵The lady doesn't want to give the ball back to Jim.
⑶The lady asks Jim to mend the window.
⑷Jim's father comes and mends the window.
⑸Jim is clever（聪明的）but he isn't a good boy.
