More Astronauts At Tiangong
China’s space station is now a lively place—three astronauts in the Shenzhou XV mission arrived on November 30. Let’s learn more about the mission.

Meet the crew (全体机组人员）
Major General: Fei Junlong
Senior Colonel: Deng Qingming
Senior Colonel: Zhang Lu
With the crew’s average (平均的) age being 53, they are experienced astronauts. Both Fei and Deng were selected in January 1998 as two of China’s first astronauts.
Highlights of the mission
1) The Shenzhou XV crew will stay inside the Tiangong space station for six months
2) Their arrival at Tiangong marked the first time that as many as six Chinese astronauts are traveling in space at the same time.

During their stay, the Shenzhou XV crew’s tasks include:
1) Three to four spacewalks to set up equipment (设备) outside the station
2) Testing 15 scientific cabinets (柜)
