Many years ago, when I was 5 years old, my mother grew some plants on the balcony (阳台). As ________ came, some flowers came out. I enjoyed looking at them very much. They were so ________. But they didn’t give out any sweet smells (气味). How can I ________ them to smell as good as they look? After ________ about the problem for a few days, I had a good idea.

One day, when my parents were not at home, I picked a bottle of perfume (香水) from my mother’s dressing table. Then I ________ the bottle cap and poured (倾倒) some perfume onto the plants.
