Hello, I’m a Yangtze finless porpoise（长江江豚）. The Yangtze River is ________ only home.

My family was once nearly dying out（灭绝）. People ________ a lot of fish in the river and made the water dirty. ________ we didn’t get enough food to eat and had no safe place to live. The river got “________”, and the life there was in danger. In 2017, there were ________ 1,012 of us, even fewer than pandas!

Luckily, the government（政府）________ this, and did some things to protect the river. Over these years, big ________ have happened to my home. Some factories ________ far away from the river, and they couldn’t discharge（排放）their litter into the water. The fishermen also stopped fishing. So my home started to get ________.
