A man was working on my farmhouse. After a day’s work, his old truck (卡车) was broken. As I d1． him home, he sat in silence (沉默).

When we got to his house, he i2． me in to meet his family. As we walked t3． the front door, he s4． at a small tree and touched the branches (树枝) with b5． hands. When he was opening the door, he had an a6． transformation (转变). He smiled and hugged (拥抱) his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Later, he walked with me to the car. When we passed the tree, I asked him about what he did at the little tree.

“Oh, that’s my trouble tree,” he said. “I know I have to m7． some troubles on the job, but those troubles don’t b8． to the house with my wife and the children. So I hang them up on the tree every night when I come home. Then, in the morning, I p9． them up again. Funny thing is when I come out in the morning to get those p10．, there aren’t nearly as m11． as I remember hanging up in the night b12．.
