Peter took a trip to Shenzhen during this summer holiday. One night, He stayed in the hotel. All the rooms in this hotel were single (单间的). Suddenly, Peter heard someone knocking (敲) at the door when he was watching TV. Then he opened the door and saw a man standing outside. He didn’t know the man at all. The man said to Peter, “I am so sorry, sir! I made a mistake and I thought this was my room.” Then he left. Peter closed the door and thought the man must be a thief (小偷). So he called the policeman at once. The policeman caught the man in the room next to Peter after a while.
