In August 2016, China National Women’s Volleyball Team beat Serbia(塞尔维亚) 3-1 in the final at the Rio Olympics and won the gold medal. They brought great joy 1． the whole country. Chairman Xi Jinping called on(号召) all the Chinese to 2． their spirit of perseverance(不屈不挠的精神) and never giving up.

Could you imagine 3． difficult their road to success was? During the match against the Brazil team in the Rio Olympic Games, the hope of winning was very little 4． the China team only won one match in the past 18 games between them. Almost all the audience thought the Brazil team would be the 5．, but our girls didn’t give up. They kept 6． fighting till the last second. To everyone’s 7．, they were so brave that they finally won the match. All the girls rushed to Lang Ping, their head coach, and hugged each 8． excitedly and happily. Zhu Ting was honored with the most valuable 9． (MVP)because of her wonderful performance.

Today, everybody is 10． of women’s volleyball team. Their spirit inspires(鼓舞) every Chinese.
